| Revit | Duplicate names usually come from identical type names or marks. Use the instance Mark parameter (unique per element) or rename types, and resolve Revit’s duplicate-Mark warnings. |
| ArchiCAD | Use the ID Manager (Document ▸ ID Manager) to auto-assign unique element IDs so siblings don’t share a Name. |
| Tekla | Run numbering (Drawings & reports ▸ Numbering) so each part gets a unique position/part mark mapped to Name. |
