Revit	Create Levels in the project; Revit exports Levels as IfcBuildingStoreys. A model with no Levels exports no storeys.
ArchiCAD	Define stories via Design ▸ Story Settings so the building has storeys.
Tekla	Define levels/storeys in the IFC export spatial settings.
Allplan	Add storey nodes under the building in the structure palette.
