What it means

The Empty storey check

IfcBuildingStorey contains no elements or spaces

Concrete, tool-specific steps. The check itself is schema-agnostic and works for IFC2x3, IFC4, IFC4x1 and IFC4x3.

Authoring tool	How to fix
Revit	Delete unused Levels, or check that elements meant for that Level are assigned to it (not a neighbouring Level).
ArchiCAD	Remove the unused story or reassign elements’ Home Story so the storey isn’t empty.
Tekla	Remove the empty level from the export or reassign parts to it.
Allplan	Delete the empty storey node or reassign objects to it.
